How to turn Data Roaming ON for the eSIM
First, make sure the eSIM is installed and set as your data line. Installing a plan is not the same as activating it, and picking the right line matters, our eSIM setup guide walks through both. - iPhone: Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) → tap your Zwitchy eSIM → turn on Data Roaming.

Turn off automatic data switching
Phones with two active lines like to "help" by switching data to whichever line has the better signal. On a trip that can push your data back to your home SIM, which roams the expensive way. Turn that off so your data stays on the eSIM:
